Krushna Abhishek updates fans on Govinda’s health, says why he couldn’t visit

Comedian and actor Krushna Abhishek has shared an update on the health of his uncle, actor Govinda, reassuring fans that he is on the path to recovery.
Krushna posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram story, writing, “Mama is feeling better now. Thank you all for your prayers and love. Wishing him a speedy recovery. God is kind. Please let your prayers keep pouring in (sic).”
In an exclusive conversation with Hindustan Times, Krushna explained why he wasn’t able to visit Govinda in the hospital, saying, “He (Govinda) is fine now. Kashmira went to meet him. I am currently in Australia. He will be discharged in a few days.”
Actress Ragini Khanna, Govinda’s niece, addressed fans’ concerns, sharing that her family had visited the actor in the hospital. “My brother and mother went to the hospital to meet him. He is recovering, and I request all the fans to pray for his speedy recovery,” she said.
Fans have been expressing their support and well-wishes for Govinda, who is now on the mend.
Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was hospitalised in Mumbai on Tuesday, after he accidentally shot himself in his leg with his licenced revolver. The bullet was removed and Govinda’s condition eventually stabilised, the actor’s manager told India Today.
